I didn´t know who Julien Macdonald was until I watched Australia´s Next Top Model…hides face*. I know, it´s terrible, I am insulted by my own ignorance!!! His designs are legendary, and not just down under! Just one look at his designs and you will see why I am shocked that more person´s don´t know about this cheeky ATM Judge and amazing designer!
The show was set to the lyrics Rebel Rebel Party Party, models walked out in grunge styled smudged makeup and stayed-up-all-night hair took to the catwalk in Julien Macdonald’s sparkling collection for Fall 2013. A mix of fringing, rhinestones, sequins, chains, intricate glittering embellishment, and more are seen in this Las Vegas inspired collection.
I am writing, however I have nothing to say. I have nothing to add. A Collection like this, makes my moonlighting as a fashion blogger…irrelevant. No snide comments from me, ladies and gents, may I present the flawless, classy and totally wearable collection of HUGO Fall 2013. Enjoy!
I have changed….. well rather, I am changing. Please indulge me…..please, outside of being certain that I am due a vacation to Jamaica, I am currently experiencing SAD. Seasonal affective disorder (SAD) is a type of depression that occurs at the same time every year. And like most persons with seasonal affective disorder, my symptoms usually start in the fall and usually continue into the winter months. My energy, and my creativity
I must be getting German, because, this very Jamaican diva laughed Jens straight in the face, only last year, when he took a beanie up and suggested getting some. I was appalled, to say the least. Well, look at me now. Going shopping tomorrow and I already see a new beanie in my future! Oh boy, let the fashion brain washing begin!!!!
Watch out Burnt Orange, this muted burgundy´s cousin has been popping up, here, there and everywhere!Oxblood is the hot color to wear this fall.Favored by designers and fashionistas alike, this interesting shade of burgundy is surprisingly versatile and flatters just about any complexion.
You all know that, I am from where most persons consider to be paradise, and if Jamaica had seasons added into the mix, I would wholeheartedly agree. But then, it wouldn´t be an Island in the Caribbean then, now would it. In comparison to Germany, in turns of climates, Jamaica has a lot more in it´s favor. But Germany has the upper hand where seasons are concerned, and you know, clothes addict that I am, is delighted with that.
In college I went through an all black stage, it might have just been my boredom with all things light colored (I wore white for 5 years prior in high school). It didn´t last for more than a month or two though. It might have been because I don´t like repeating the same clothes too often, or the fact that I am a fashion schizo. When others zig, I zag,
I love, love, love Fall. Athough, up until recently it was impossible to enjoy, because of all the rain!!! However the rain stopped and as unpredictable as the season is, we went from freezing cold rain to warm 70´s. I know my family and friends living in Jamaica must be laughing at me now, I mean 70´s in Jamaica, are grounds for cancelling any outdoor activities, work even.
